Northcliffe Allotment

Northcliffe Allotment and sourcing fruit and veg.

Wherever possible, all produce used at The Yorkshire Preservatory is grown on my allotment. Obviously during the marmalade season citrus fruit is bought from a local farm shop as even with climate change,  the Yorkshire climate does not lend itself to growing oranges, limes and lemons. At other times of the year if I see a bargain in the supermarkets I will buy fruit and vegetables, and I am also not known for turning down free fruit from friends allotments and gardens!
