The Rhubarb Patch; workshops run throughout the rhubarb season

  • The Yorkshire Preservatory Shipley West Yorkshire (map)

Rhubarb can be used as the basis of many types of preserves throughout the year.

If you have an established rhubarb patch you can pick rhubarb from February through to September and sometimes even longer.

Join me in a workshop to learn how to use rhubarb to make chutneys, cordials, curds, vodkas and gins, pie fillings, jams and more.

My first foray into rhubarb preserves was making my Grandmother's rhubarb and ginger jam.

Contact me to discuss the endless possibilities or to suggest your own favourite recipe. You can bring your own rhubarb or I can provide it from my rhubarb patch on my allotment.

Contact me or book a workshop at The Yorkshire Preservatory at a time and date suitable to you.

Cost: £60.00 - What's included?

All produce and equipment provided.

Lunch and refreshments.

All preserves made taken home.

Lots of fun!
